- We have introduced a new status 'FINALIZED' in the latest judgement column in the dataset table in Quality Flow. Units in FINALIZED status have gathered all expected judgements and are committed.
- Minimum Time per Page is now available in Quality Flow. This setting is used to ensure that the contributors spend a certain amount of time on a page before they can submit. Contributors who violate the setting will not receive new work unless they are unflagged. More Info.
- We're thrilled to announce that we have released a new version of the annotation interface (Worker UI). As of May 11, any new project or job automatically routes contributors to this new version, while jobs created between January 1, 2025, and May 10, 2026, will remain on the previous version. The new interface delivers a faster, more responsive experience built on a modern React architecture. Everything on the project management side remains unchanged all job types, CML designs, and the Appen platform work exactly as before.
- We've enhanced the Test Questions management in QF with better editing and settings controls. You can now select bulk test questions and edit them one by one through a paginated experience, with a progress indicator and edits saved as you navigate between questions. The bulk 'Apply Settings' action has been improved to reflect your selections: the Enable and Hide answers toggles can now apply across multiple test questions. Lastly, Test Questions without gold answers are now fully supported in Quiz+ Work mode, giving you more flexibility to accommodate different use cases.
