Routing units from Job to Job

Quality flow allows you to move units from job to job. You can:

manually move units into new jobs using the "Send to Job" Action on the main dataset
set up filters and frequencies to recursively sample units from one job and send any units matching the criteria to new jobs, by clicking on the grey circles leading from the ALL DATA box on the Jobs canvas to the target job (see this article).

When you are moving units from job to job, you will be presented with the following options to toggle on or off. It is important to get the combination of these choices right, to ensure that you do not inadvertently lose any work.

	Overwrite ON	Overwrite OFF
Carry over ON	Judgments from the first job will be visible and editable by contributors in the second job. Work done in the second job will REPLACE any work done in the first job.	Judgments from the first job will be visible and editable by contributors in the second job. Work done in the second job will be ADDITIONAL to work done in the first job. The second job must have number of judgments set to greater than the number judgments in the first job for units to be judgable in this job.
Carry over OFF	Judgments from the first job will NOT be visible to contributors in the second job. Work done in the second job will REPLACE any work done in the first job.	Judgments from the first job will NOT be visible to contributors in the second job. Work done in the second job will be ADDITIONAL to work done in the first job. The second job must have number of judgments set to greater than the number judgments in the first job for units to be judgable in this job.

Revise judgments

Use this setting if you want contributors in the second job to revise earlier judgments and you DO NOT want to keep the original version of the judgments.

Review & Add judgments

Use this setting if you want contributors in the second job to revise earlier judgments and you DO want to keep the original version of the judgments.

Carry over OFF

Replace Judgments

Use this setting if you want contributors in the second job to provide their own new judgment and you DO NOT want to keep the original judgments.

Add judgments

Use this setting if you would like to collect additional judgments for the same units.
